It’s Full Steam Ahead Into 2012

As we enter the holiday season and approach year’s end, we’d like to take stock of a few things we’re thankful for. First and foremost, thank you for reading IP Wise in 2011. Whether a regular or occasional reader, we appreciate your spending a few minutes every now and then catching up on the world of intellectual property law and litigation with us.

Next, we thank the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for launching a new revamped website, which appears to be much more intuitive than the old site. We also thank the PTO for its efforts to leaven IP law with a bit of humor—witness the PTO’s twelve days of patents.

And we give thanks for those inventors, lawyers, scholars, judges, and policy–makers who work to improve the world of IP law. Here’s hoping that their efforts will someday bring us the bright future and jetpacks we were promised.
